Brad Margolis works as a strategic adviser helping business leaders transform ideas into action to achieve business results. Working within Electronic Arts, he is responsible for driving cross-functional organizational effectiveness initiatives and leading executive development programs as part of the Learning, Engagement, and Performance team. Margolis has worked as an organizational consultant with companies in the high-tech, financial services, and health care sectors for the past 25 years. He combines business experience with strategic thinking and a results-oriented focus to help organization leaders innovate and achieve breakthrough results. He engages as a partner with his clients to help identify and overcome the barriers to success. Margolis specializes in situations where individual, team and organizational performance is out of alignment with strategic goals, helping leaders improve their ability to manage change, build relationships and deliver business results to grow the organization. Over the past decade at Electronic Arts, Margolis has led multiple initiatives to impact organizational performance. He built and delivered successful executive development programs; designed and implemented a global employee feedback process; aligned the executive team on leadership competencies; created an innovation accelerator program for studio teams and facilitated the work on EA’s top strategic priority. Before joining Electronic Arts, Margolis spent three years as a senior consultant within Kaiser Permanente. His work leading the team on performance effectiveness for the sales and account management organization resulted in a multimillion dollar savings for the Medicare practice. As an external consultant Margolis has worked with clients to help clarify organizational roles, develop strategies for organizational growth, and align individual performance with strategic plans. Prior to his external consultant role, Margolis was the director of marketing for A3 Solutions and a member of the corporate management team. He was responsible for strategic vision and tactical implementation of corporate marketing. His work helped transform the organization from a consulting company to a product company resulting in two consecutive years of over 200 percent growth in license fees and a multimillion dollar strategic partnership with IBM. Margolis holds bachelor’s degrees in business and computer science, and a doctorate in organizational psychology. He has been a facilitator for students taking interpersonal dynamics and high-performance leadership at the Stanford GSB.
